## Behind the Scenes: Inside Our State-of-the-Art Acrylic Furniture Factory

A modern [acrylic furniture factory](https://www.glowacrylic.com/behind-the-scenes-inside-our-state-of-the-art-acrylic-furniture-factory/) looks nothing like a traditional woodshop. There's no sawdust, no loud hammering, and no rough edges. Instead, there's laser light, precision robotics, and artisans who treat plastic like fine crystal. The Laser Bay
Our five CO₂ laser cutters run 10 hours a day. Each machine cuts at speeds up to 800 mm/s, with an accuracy of ±0.05mm. What does that mean for you? Perfect circles, sharp corners, and repeatable cuts—whether we're making 1 chair or 100.
 
The CNC Workshop
For thicker or sculptural pieces, we move to our 3-axis and 5-axis [CNC routers](https://www.glowacrylic.com/how-we-bring-your-dream-design-to-life-custom-acrylic-furniture-manufacturing/). These machines can carve 3D curves, [beveled edges](https://www.glowacrylic.com/the-art-of-seamless-bonding-how-we-create-invisible-joints-in-custom-tables/), and even embedded logo engravings. Our CNC operators are trained engineers who speak both code and craftsmanship.
 
The Polishing Station – All Human
Here's the secret: no machine can replace the human eye for final finishing. Our senior polishers each have over 8 years of experience. They use diamond-tipped scrapers, flame torches, and micro-mesh pads to bring every surface to a glass-like finish. Run your finger over a GlowAcrylic edge—you won't feel a single bump.
 
Quality Control Lab
We don't just look at furniture. We test it. Our in-house QC lab checks for:
 
Stress cracks using polariscope lighting
